Rating: 290 Degrees (Out of 360)
I know, I know, a score of 290 for a crass chick flick (MILF flick?). But I'm a sucker for a quick witted pseudo unscripted comic banter, AND it was funny. I really did laugh quite a lot. Mila Kunis is great as a mom who has too much on her plate but manages to get though most of it, albeit late. Some stereotypes run their course, but many predictable jokes or scenarios are not used in this movie. This allows for the movie to feel freash and the smart comedians roll with their lines fluidly.
Bottom line, I laughed a lot, particularly at the cheap shots at dads (though I swear, I can't relate). When I see good comedies that don't really require "The Big Screen" to enjoy, I recommend heading to the theater anyway to show your appreciation for this movie with your money.
