Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Fresh Star Wars, ahh, it's like the first stretch off the plane after an international flight.  It's so much fun to see the ships, the cameos and the expanded mythos, but with new characters and new leyer of grit.

I must admit, I'm a huge Donny Yen fan, so I certainly have a soft spot for a psudo foce sensative that can kick major ass with force like precicion from a genuine martial arts master.  Donny is really hitting American audiences late in the game, but I'm proud that he has made it to Star Wars levels of popularity.

Aside from that, It's crazy odd that all of the Star Wars Heroins are similar looking ladies.  All commanding the screen quite well, but also, all petite bernettes that could get confused together from movie to movie for the casual veiwer.

Anyway, the space battles are a great showing that this franchise still has 'it' (Force Unleashed didn't show this off) and that the CG can almost get reproducing a realistic human done perfectly.

See this one.  It's great for the first time veiwed becasue it's a closed story line that leaves you wanting more ... and obviously you can role into watching 'A New Hope' and get the more you desire.
